Ashanti Region
Welcome to Ashanti Region- the only of Ghana’s administrative regions whose name reflects an ethnic group. And of course, it is none other than the revered Ashanti Kingdom. This over 500-year kingdom is still very vibrant and its king is relevant in national affairs. You would definitely want to know the shining history about his forebearers, particularly the great King Osei Tutu and the mystical Okomfo Anokye whose magical prowess are yet to be rivalled.
