The Atewa Range
This 17,400 hectares of evergreen forest is an ecotourist’s paradise. From the captivating stories about legendary hunters to exciting caves to the rich array of rare endagngered species such as the olive long-tailed cuckoo, least honeyguide and blue-headed crested flycatcher and many rare butterflies. you will surely have your effort’s worth.
If you make the effort to climb to the summit, you will be able to enjoy a grand view of surrounding areas.
Site is still under construction so special arrangemtns should be made before visting.
How to get there
Locate the forest near the town of Kibi and south west of Kwahu plateau. There are trotro to board from Koforidua or Accra to Kibi.
