Tucked away in a small forest is the The Tano grove which houses some very impressive rock formations. Local folklore has it that this grove is the cradle of Brong civilization. In the past it served as a hideout to the Brongs during the 18th century Brong-Ashanti wars. Without doubt such a setting is great for hiking and rock climbing and your guide on the trail walk will help you to explore a variety of trees as well as birds, and butterflies. With some careful planning and luck you might just be fortunate to see some baboons and antelopes.

The adjoining village also offers a lot by rich history and it would be worth your while to sign up for a village tour and possibly pass the night in one of homestay options available.
