Mount Afadjato
Standing at 2,905 ft., Mountain Afadjato has since claimed the title of Ghana’s highest mountain. It ranges from Agumetsa and runs along the Ghana-Togo borders. Afadjato has been inspiration for many tourists to Volta Region from reaching the highest altitude in
Ghana to being a clear day viewer of neighbouring villages, the Tagbo waterfall and the Volta Lake.
The mountain is also an important biodiversity area where mammals and some bird species can be spotted. You will have a rousing moment when climbing with other hikers because you will see others struggling to conquer. When you triumph, you will stand a proud member of those who have survived Afadjato.
