Monkey Forest Reserve
This local monkey sanctuary is privately owned and managed by Dutch couples. It is a refugee for good number of wildlife species. This forest has for the past few years been a heaven for captured but
rescued/freed animals.
A visit to this heaven will let you learn about how the reserve has become a harbour for monkeys, civets, snakes, tortoises, a baby antelope and some other animals.
When you visit, you will appreciate that these wildlife were really once threatened but now they have found a new heaven. Meet the Dutch owner of the forest always on site and you will be amazed to see how Dennis loves the animals and cares so much about them. His knowledge is extensive and his tales will certainly keep you entertained.
