Butre, Dixcove and Busua
Busua is a fishing village that lies on a very safe and beautiful beach in the Western Region of Ghana. The beach is very lovely and the community members are very friendly making the environment very
welcoming and comfortable to stay.
These communities and their white sandy beaches make staying there enjoyable. This comparatively safe beach offers visitors the opportunity to take pleasurable activities such as swimming, surfing, jet skiing, boat rides, football, and beach volley.
Walk for less than thirty minutes and tour Dixcove, a small historical town with a lot of crumbling colonial-era buildings like the Fort Metal Cross. You can also visit Butre 3km east of Busua, another fishing community with a wide sandy beach in a large bay adjacent to a small river estuary. Find in Butre Fort Batenstein which is above the village and can be reached through a short footpath because it is on a hill.
There are enough accommodation facilities and food joints in Busua to cater for your needs, you can also request the onsite tour guides to arrange a home stay in the community for you. Any casual outfits
with additional beach wear attires will be appropriate when visiting these towns.
